We are members of the body of Christ that have come together from 20 different churches to volunteer with All Rockland Kids for Christ. We are called to serve the Lord by doing anything we can to reach the children of Rockland County with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

ARK for Christ was founded on prayer. Starting in 1984, simultaneous prayer groups started in various neighborhoods of Rockland, as Believers responded to the burden for the souls of children.
God had laid a common burden on the hearts of those who lived in different areas of the country and did not know one another. In April 1994, the sovereign Hand of God brought them together. His leading was recognized, and All Rockland Kids for Christ was incorporated as a non profit corporation under the laws of NY State.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16)
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin Birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential and that this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We are totally incapable of doing anything in ourselves to obtain our salvation. (Ephesians 2:8,9)
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life and to perform good works.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
ARK is not affiliated with one specific denomination. Believers from many churches form a strong volunteer base at ARK, working together to reach the un-churched children in this county.
All contributions received, regardless of amount, are considered a gift from the Lord’s Hand. Each dollar is stretched in order to make the greatest impact for the Kingdom.
ARK for Christ will provide a tax receipt in accordance with the rules and regulations of the IRS for each contribution received.
ARK’s few ‘paid staff’ receive a stipend which is determined by the Board of Directors. None of the Board members receives a stipend.
All contributions received for a designated purpose will be separately accounted for to ensure their intended use.
ARK for Christ is funded solely by the voluntary gifts of God’s people.
ARK for Christ does not receive any grants or funding from government agencies. "Learn more"
